As an equestrian professional since 2006, Jessica has gained a vast experience with her personal training and teaching business. Three summers of public performances with the Temple Lipizzans, working on warmblood and PRE breeding farms, and managing training facilities, Jessica gained valuable experience training and caring for many different breeds, ages, and discipline of horses. Jessica has worked closely with Holsteiners, Hanoverians, Oldenburgs, PRE's, and Lipizzans. Her main focus with taking several horses from backing to the Grand Prix competition arena, but she has also trained airs above the ground for public performances.
With understanding of the classical schools, Jessica’s teaching is grounded in the fundamentals, but is stylized with a personal approach to achieve harmony and full potential. Offering tailored training programs, Jessica's custom approach helps a wide range of students and horses to gain confidence in their work.
Jessica believes that, "learning never stops, especially in the sport of dressage!" and has worked with top trainers and clinicians in the competition and classical worlds to become educated in the saddle, experienced with long-line, in-hand work, Equine behavior, and young horses.
In over fifteen years of participating in recognized USDF Dressage competitions, Jessica has earned many Championship, All - Breeds, and Year End Awards. She has earned her USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals—as well as the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Freestyle Bars. Jessica is an accomplished equestrian, proud to be one of the very few riders who hold all six awards. In 2021, she was awarded the prestigeous USDF Diamond Award, for obtaining all medals and freestyle bars with distinction.
